Wow, 400. That's a lotta posts, my friends.
I know I did a similar thing for my 300th post (which was in September)... but it seems as though there has been a sudden increase in readers around these parts so Hi! I'm Sarah!
Hi there! My name is Sarah. I was born and raised in Small Town, Indiana.
I recently graduated from a small, Catholic private college that has only female students.
(No, I don't know what I was thinking.)
But it was, without a doubt, the best four years of my life. I met incredible people and did many incredible things.
I started this blog not so long after my mom died from colon cancer. I was lonely and I needed someone to talk to... so I started talking to my computer. (No, I don't take crazy pills but maybe I should...)
For the past six years, I dated The Boy. Nice kid, honestly, but it turns out he doesn't (and maybe never did) really love me.
These past few months since I got unceremoniously dumped have definitely been quite the roller coaster. I'm alternately excited and terrified of the fact that my future is completely uncertain.
I loved all of your questions and so I'm gonna do my best to answer them.....
My makeup routine? Can be found here.
In school, I studied Business/Marketing.
My dream jobs are: Event (Wedding!) Planner, Magazine Writer (I've dreamed of that job since I subscribed to Glamour magazine at age 13), Professional Shopper, Product Marketer, Supermodel (hey, the question asked for my dream job... I didn't say it was realistic!)
The careers I would love to pursue are Marketing (I'm really good at it, swear!), Event Planning, and Nonprofit Fundraising. Clearly that's not panning out so well since I am working retail. (And that's all I'm contractually allowed to say about that. But I can answer any further questions via e-mail.)
Would I date The Boy all over again? Ugh, this is a tough one. Yes, but not for 6 years. I spent my college years with him so I missed out on a huge opportunity to meet new people... and that's an opportunity you can't get back.
Jacob or Edward? Tough call. I'd say I want Edward to be my boyfriend who whispers sweet nothings in my ear and tells me how awesome I am.... and I want to do the dirty with Jacob. (I mean I want to clean my house with him. I'm Catholic!)
Where do babies come from? Housecleaning (see above question).
Do I want kids? Absolutely, 100% yes. One of the reasons I was so devastated by breaking up with The Boy is because I was afraid my chance at having babies might never happen. I have a bad heart and therefore having kids young is always going to be a better option for me, health-wise. But I really shouldn't worry about that or I'll drive myself crazy.
And not that anyone asked, but I have names picked out. My favorite name since 7th grade has been Emma Grace, and I'm pretty sure that one is for sure. I also love the name Clara (which is my grandpa's mom's name, so I love that), but I don't have a middle name for her. If I have a boy.... Lord help him. Cause I've got nothin.
I am not dating but I'm starting to warm up to the idea. But if I had to put money on it I'll guess that by my 500th post I still won't have gone on a date. Who knows.
Dream Engagement Ring?
BOOM! (Does that answer your question, sass?) But I picked out this ring with The Boy... so does that mean it can't transfer over to another man?? Stay tuned.
If I had to eat the same thing for the rest of my life, I'd eat warm bread and butter. Gross but true.
N'Sync or BSB? Spice Girls.
How do I eat so much and stay so thin? My parents. Thank GOD for good genetics or else I would weigh 600 pounds and be on the Biggest Loser. True story.
The accessory I can't live without? My college class ring. (Sorry, that pic was taken to show the bruise on my hand. It's gone now.)
I know everyone says that I will "get over" my college class ring... but it's SO unique to my school and doesn't look like a normal class ring, in my opinion.
In more general terms, my favorite accessory is earrings. I literally can't leave the house without something in my ears.
Would I stay in Indiana? Yes, but I am not glued to the idea. It's a nice place to live... but for the right man career, I'd move.
I have no secret talents. I'm just horribly normal.
(Since I live with my dad), what will your dad do for food when you move out? He will be just fine. He cooked at least half of the meals when I was growing up... and I have a feeling he will occasionally eat fast food. Good thing he's so skinny!!
McSteamy or McDreamy? Both.
Sorry I jumped around so much... I bit off way more than I could chew today!
Any questions I didn't answer will show up in a post soon!

It was nice to learn more about you since I only came across the blog a month or so ago.

The Spice Girls -- yayers!!! AND, love that ring, but how did you get that HUGE bruise on your hand?!?!
Love this!! And I LOVE that college ring. Such an awesome piece of jewelry to own.

Love, loved reading all your answers. Your dream ring is awesome!!! I think it can transfer, especially since it was never used. ;)
Emma Grace is a fabulous name!!
I went to an all girls college too. Apparently I was on drugs when I chose to go there... :-)
Great blog post! Happy 400!
Love this post Miss Sarah, it is always wonderful to learn more about favorite bloggers, even more so in this case because I am a fairly new reader, and fan.
Congratulations on the 400th post, that is a lot of writing, particularly when it is good writing, which yours definitely is. Thanks for sharing it with all of us.
Sending you a smile for the rest of your week,
tp
Congrats on your 400th post. I just started a blog and i can barely think of 10 things to post, let alone 400 :)
thanks so much for sharing, I started following your blog a month ago, and have really enjoyed it!
I just wished I lived in the US so that I could be in with the Target fun, but alas, I do not. So I live vicariously through all the pictures.
Seriously. Target. Come to Canada.
Happy 400th post! I love reading your blog. Here's to 400 more! =)
You are such a beautiful girl with a beautiful heart as well! I LOVE that ring girrrrl! Bling! Bling! I always like learning more about folks who are blogging and stuff like that...I've never had a question/or ask me anything post...but I may just do that! It's fun to read :) Love, Becky
Emma Grace is so my girl name too! I love it. I want to use two names. I think it is so classic and southern.
Loved getting to know more about you!!
I actually grew up in Speedway and my parents still live there.
Happy 400th!
I really wanted to get a class ring while at Mizzou, but they were soooooooo expensive. Then I went and left a semester before I finished, so it seems kind of useless now. I wore my high school ring for yeeeeeeeears, though.
Oh I love this! I just learned so much about you in this post :)
Also, I wear my college ring everyday, also. Other than my engagement and wedding rings, it's my favorite piece of jewelry!!
Dude! I'm sooo behind, and I missed your questions post!! I'm beyond sad! I'll have amazing hard-hitting questions for your next round then ;)
Congrats on 400 posts! Your class ring is so pretty - my college ring options were terribly ordinary so I didn't get one but I regret that a bit.
