Monday Brain Explosion

Hello lovelies!

Happy Monday!

You know, I went to sleep last night with these grand intentions of writing something spectacular and awe-inspiring this morning.

Warning: I hope you didn't come here looking for some awe. Cause I'm fresh out.

Ok, well if you will bear with me through these bullet points I swear I'll get to something good at the bottom of this post...

  • I got bleach spots on my favorite shirt. It was a fatal case. Then, I decided to bleach the whole thing and re-dye it. I'm only on the first step, but I'll let you know how it goes. Wish my beautiful, favorite-ist shirt well.
  • I made blueberry cobbler this weekend with some fresh blueberries I bought up in Michigan. It's a "biscuit-style" cobbler, which I love... I mean seriously, doesn't this make you drool, even with my amateur photography skills? (Which is why I am now eating it for breakfast at 7:15 AM).
  • Today my best friend gets the keys to her classroom - she's going to be a fifth grade teacher! I'm off all day to help organize and decorate.
  • I still have not purchased a new purse. I guess I'm now considering waiting until I have a dang job before plunking down my cold hard cash on a new one. I am such a wimp... that's what credit cards are for, right? (So totally kidding. Seriously. I have no credit card debt and hence why I have no new purse.)
  • Did I mention that my family home, where I still live, has been sold? We have something like 26 days until we have to pack up all our earthly possessions and move. I'm a little depressed about it, since I LOVE this house and this neighborhood. Fortunately, depending on how you look at it, we are moving .6 miles away into a rental house. I still just have to help my dad do a major purge of our possessions, and I don't think I'm going to like it one bit.
  • On the topic of denim: Ok, I know I have been talking and obsessing about my damn jeans but I'm still a bit confused. In this post, I was wearing a size 4. They are tiight. When I sit, sometimes I even think they are internal-organ-crushing-tight. In this post, I'm wearing a size 6. They are a bit loose in the back, and might even give me a plumber's crack - I can't remember. The thighs do fit though. So do I just keep one size 4 and one size 6 pair? Exchange for the bigger or smaller size in one pair? They are cotton/spandex, so I feel like they should stretch. And I probably will never put them in the dryer because they are the perfect length and I don't want them to shrink. Help, I am crazy and indecisive and have no clue what to do. And I really need to take these damn jeans off the floor of my bedroom and wash and put them away. Seriously. (Was this too long for a bullet point?)
  • Over here, I'm posting about a fabulous little product I bought at Sephora. Please, go and enjoy my fabulous makeup-artist-like talents...
  • Over the weekend, I noticed that I hit 1o0 Followers. I remember starting this blog and I think I posted about 25 times before I had one comment. And it was on a post about the Boy. Good grief.
Either way, I'm so excited to have so many fabulous readers. I love you all so much and it just warms my heart to read your stories and have you reading mine.

Because I love you all so much, I am offering up a $15 Starbucks gift card this week. All you have to do is comment on any posts here through Friday or comment on my post over at Chic Critique here.

Today, I'd really like to know when or how or why did you start reading my blog? Where did you come from??

AND - very important!! - if you don't have your e-mail address attached to your blogger account (ie when I go to reply to your comment it says noreply@blogger.com), then leave me your e-mail address too. So we can keep in touch.

Happy Monday!! I hope (for your sake) that I have something more exciting to talk about tomorrow.

That's exciting about your friend and her classroom...I always wanted to be a teacher so I could decorate.

I hope you can fix your shirt! Although you could have just tried to rock the bleach spots - maybe you'd bring back the trend?? ;)

Maybe you need to find a different brand of jeans? I tend to stick with only 1 brand, because I know they'll always fit me perfectly. I'm usually "between sizes" in other brands. But if you're sticking with these - "internal-organ-crushing-tight" is NEVER a good thing! lol :)

Congrats on reaching 100 followers! I found you on Twitter, and have enjoyed your blog ever since!

Thanks for the comment @ prettybabies! It was too sweet. Now I'm curious about where you are a student - I went to IU, IUPUI, and Purdue. :)
