Recent Acquisitions

Dunno what it is about spring, but I've been a shopping fool lately.  I blew my wad a couple of times (ahem), but I've mostly kept it under control.  (Side note: The phrase "blew my wad" COMPLETELY disgusts me.  If Mr. RH said it in my presence I'd probably have a fit... but for some reason, it's really cracking me up this minute.  I am so crazy.)

Anyhow, I'm having a blahhhh-humbug morning because I woke up with a terrible sore throat... not to mention, I'm running the store myself today through Sunday and it's the last 2 days of the quarter and blah blah money, sales, just wanna lay in bed and whine about my throat.  And eat snickers ice cream.

Side note:  I have fallen off the semi-fit train lately.  HARD.  I was supposed to run this morning, but a tiny sore throat kept me home.  Big shocker there!

So, I'll just show you some of the pretties that keep showing up around here.

During one of her pregnancies, Megan had posted about her Sanuk sandals and how much she loved them.  They're sandals... made out of yoga mats.  Yep, my mind was blown too.  So I've been on the lookout for them ever since and low and behold... I found them in Fort Wayne after the Vera Bradley sale.

Side note:  If you live in Fort Wayne, there's a store at the mall called "TradeHome".  No clue why a shoe-store is named that... but they have TOMS for almost $10 cheaper than other stores.  Dude, that's a lot cheaper.  Just FYI.  Go there, buy shoes.

(Side note:  Google tells me there are a lot of TradeHome shoe stores.  Go there, they have the cheap shoes.  And while you're at it, slap me for not buying the turquoise TOMS wedges while I was there.  I need them.)

Also, a great sale on DSW.com enabled me to buy yet ANOTHER pair of my favorite flip flops.  I believe this is my 3rd gray pair... but I think it's time to retire the first pair, they're falling apart after too many summers.
How could I resist, they're LEOPARD.

First patterned pair of Havaianas, check.

And last but not least.... I finally caved and bought something from Stella & Dot.  Damn you Julie for being a convincing saleswoman.
I love the color and beauty of the earrings... but I'm not going to lie, they are a little heavy.  And a little big, to be honest.  For the price I paid, I was hoping to wear them on a regular basis... and I think the size might render them "special-occasion only."  Darn.

Ok, so posting about my pretties has me feeling at least 6% better this lovely (freezing cold) Friday morning.

But I still want to stay home in my PJs all day.

Happy Friday!!  Hope your weekends are 50x more relaxing than mine will be!

You make me wanna shop!! Mint tells me the only clothes I've bought this month are work shoes. Lame!

Which are more comfortable: Sanuk or Havainas?

The earrings are gorgeous...but bummer they are heavy! I guess they will have to be special occasion earrings.

I finally bought a pair of flip flops that didn't come from Old Navy or cost $3. :0)

I know what you mean about the exercising...I have been trying to get a little something in too but it is just so hard to get up mornings and then I get so busy during the day.

Those earrings were gorgeous and I think I would still wear them if they were a hundred pound weight, lol

I really like those earrings. They don't look that big in the picture.
