It's finally back to "normal" around here - Mr. RH heads back to school today (boo hiss, bye-bye free time!), I go back to working 5 days a week (I shall miss you, company holidays!), and me attempting to get back into some kind of routine - with life, blogging, cooking/baking, whatever.
My first big objective of the year is to finally paint/decorate my bathroom. I've lived in this house for almost a year and the bathroom is the only room that hasn't had a THING done to it. I posted about it in August... and I've done nothing since then.
I am buying a new light fixture this week. I can't decide if I should pick a paint color before I find some rugs for the bathroom. What if they don't match? Rugs first?
And then there's the horrible vanity. I don't anticipate living here that much longer, so I am rationalizing the fact that I don't need to refinish it or replace it. Ok, rationalizing done.

In other "stuff I don't know" news, I need to learn how to use my camera. I know how to technically use it, but I never have anyone to practice on! I hate taking pictures of.... stuff. I love people! Why do I have no people?
Ok, I think this post is long and boring enough for a Monday. Come back tomorrow for some fun with Mr. RH!
Happy Monday!

This interior designer says rugs first. There are 1000000000 different paint colors to chose from, find the rug first. :)
I need to learn how to use my camera too! I've had it for a year and I kinda know some stuff but my photos would be so much better if I just practiced.
ooooh, I ADORE the shower curtain! Where's it from? It would be lovely curtains for our guest room (which is painted grey (walls) and yellow (ceiling). I made bathroom curtains from a shower curtain too... would be a fun tradition to start for the house! Please do let me know!!!
Pick rugs first!
I got a shower curtain a couple of years ago for Christmas. It's what I wanted, so how is that lame?
i love that shower curtain! oh, being a grown-up and getting non-fun things like shower curtains for Christmas...
What Emily the designhHER said.
And then come down here and I'll teach you to use your camera.
We've got you covered down here.
Where's that shower curtain from? I love it!
I have that very same shower curtain. I love it. I coordinated it with aubergine. It's great fabric. I wish now I'd bought 2 or 3.
