I Bought Stuff!

I mentioned a while back that I dragged Mr. RH to the outlet mall. What I failed to mention is that I found the most awesome stuff at the outlets that day.

Good shopping skills or new good luck charm? Take your pick.

Either way, I'm going to apologize for these photos in advance and just say... hey, shopping is good!! And if you agree with that statement, let's hang out sometime, ok?

First up, J. Crew Outlet. I couldn't pass up this skirt because it has A) the perfect color B) an elastic waistband and C) pockets.

I typically wear my skirts low on my hips because I like them as long as possible but hiked it up in the 2nd pic because I thought the placement on my waist might make me look thinner. Thoughts?

I bought this dress at J. Crew not because I needed it or anything but because Mr. RH loved it and it was on clearance. I don't even normally wear strapless dresses!

But it's jersey and gray - two of my favorite things... so it can't be all bad, right??

Next up, there was a Brand New (to me!) Ann Taylor LOFT outlet.... which Mr. RH insisted I check out even though there was nothing in there for him. (I'm smitten!)

This gray dress is probably a size too big but... comfy as hell. And I've gotten compliments on it in the 4 hours I wore it out of the house. Win?
I also had to snap up this headband. It was just so quirky... totally unnecessary, but needed.
Next up, Banana Republic Outlet. There was So. Much. Going. On. in this store that it was kind of difficult to shop. Pure chaos for some reason.

But I snapped up this dress and am SO glad I did.... who doesn't need a Little Pink Dress (LPD).
I also grabbed these shorts on a whim (only $15!) but I'm feeling a bit lost on how to wear them.
White looks okay with them but... should I be wearing a color? Yellow? Black? Gray? PINK? I hate shorts typically so I feel totally out of my comfort zone.

Last but not least, I chatted to Mr. RH about how my friends all bought TOMS shoes and while I think they are funky and very hip.. they were so ugly on me. Except then I tried on the wedges and it was love at first heel.

He insisted on swinging by my favorite Nordstrom in Indianapolis (the one that is CLOSING. Sob, sob sob). And I did, and he insisted I purchase:
I have worn them a ton with only minor rubbing on my toes on the first day... I'm basically in love. I would have grouped TOMS in with my major distaste for Uggs and Crocs... but honestly. They're hot. I get stopped and asked about them every single time I wear them.

It's love. I will be buying at least 1 more pair. Don't judge, fashionistas! I am weak and lovestruck! (And I'm not talking about shoes.)

Last but not least, I picked this skirt up at Target on a whim last weekend and I'm obsessed.

Can you say... most comfortable thing ever?

I can. That skirt.

So... am I the only one on a spending binge lately?? I keep telling Mr. RH that he is going to break my bank account.

But I think the honest thing is... he makes me feel so amazing about myself, I can't help but love everything I find.

Or maybe I'm just wearing rose-colored glasses.

Either way, I'll take it.

Y'all. I would totally give you my money and let you shop for clothes for me if I could look half as cute as you do in those pics! I love all the outfits, and (gasp!) even the Toms, which I have lumped in with Uggs and Crocs!

You found some really nice things. I really like that first skirt and LOVE the dresses (gray and jersey are two of my favorite things, too).

The end of your post is so sweet. Finding someone who truly makes you feel good about yourself is the best!

Oh, and on a side note, if you're planning on having any blog sales in the future, come check out http://www.blogsalesunited.com. I'm trying to start up a resource site for blog sales. Here ends my plug :)

Okay - I think this was one of your best shopping trips. Everything looks amazing on you - I'm not sure if it's because Mr.RH is probably making you glow, or your killer tan, but either way - EVERYTHING looks amazing. I love the pink LBD, Target skirt, and most of all....those Toms wedges. I honestly didn't give them a second glance until I saw this post...and now I'm crushing. They look so cute and easy to wear. I may have to go make a quick pit stop at lunch.

1, can we please share a closet?
2, I like the skirt pulled higher.
3, I've been looking for a grey dress JUST LIKE THAT for months and haven't found anything close at a reasonable price. so jealous!
4, I'm also anti crocs, uggs and toms but now you have me questioning the toms...those are super cute!
5, I am going to do some serious shopping next time I'm home (and I'm pretty sure the outlet mall you went to is the closest one to my "home"!)

These are probably my most favorite things you've purchased in awhile! must be both a good luck charm and incredibly lucky shopping day.
I love the grey vneck dress, teal shorts and toms the most.
Dress those shorts up with a cute color top to make a color block outfit or a lacy top for something softer.
You look great!
follow me back on twitter so we can chat since I've been reading your blog for so long

Cute finds! J. Crew Outlet is one of my favorites.

I tend to agree with you on Toms - I don't love them but the wedges are really cute! They look more structured and less "elfish" than the flats. Love yours. And love that they support a good cause.

I love every single one of these things! I've been considering some Toms wedges. You are looking tan my friend!! And you should love shorts, because you have hot legs. i'm jealous.

Such cute stuff! You've convinced me to get TOMS wedges... I have a regular pair in navy and I love them, but really don't know what to wear them with! And that first skirt - 2nd pic, higher on the waist. I like it better in that one. I used to wear mine much lower too, because I have a short torso, but sometimes, it just looks weird on me now.

I wish someone would just come and teach me how to wear clothes.

I like, all of it! Even the Toms - I've not been a Toms fan, but I've been eyeing those wedges for some time now.

That darling green skirt looks best in photo #2; think it's meant to sit at the natural waist.
