Wordless Wednesday: SPF PSA

Word to the Wise: If it's warm enough to sit in the sun for multiple hours reading a book... it's warm enough that you should be wearing sunscreen.

Three days later, my upper arm is still on fire. I am so dumb, for real.

Also, please enjoy the late 90s bath towel on the left side of the picture. Best towel in the world, for serious. Too bad it's uggly.

Is the "I am so dumb, for real" to be said in the way that Antoine Dodson says it in the Bed Intruder song?

Because that's TOTALLY how I just said it.

And if you're not supposed to read it that way, my bad, ignore what I just said!

Ouch! Us pale skinned girls get the short end of the stick of everything! ;-)

Hopefully some aloe will take the edge right off. And if aloe doesn't....wine will!

Oh no! I made the same mistake this past Monday at the Zoo...it was only 50 degrees out or so (but sunny). No hat or sunscreen (shame on me) and my now poor pealing nose paid the price!

Hope your Indiana sun-burn is getting better!

I've followed your blog for way over a year now and just wanted to let you know that you were on my mind today. My mother passed in 1993 when I was almost 6 years old. Mother's Day is still hard even after all these years. Hope you're well. God bless-

I got a bad sunburn about a month ago. The sun tricked me, because it wasn't hot and I couldn't feel the burn. I was miserable!!! From then on I wear at least SPF15 even to tan. I hurt so badly I learned my lesson! :)
