Happy Thursday, tweethearts.
As a follow up to yesterday's post - thanks for the feedback! - more info about my wedding-day ensemble. My hair will be pulled back. The dress is strapless (as are 99.6% of all wedding dresses, much to my chagrin), but I am wearing a lace bolero to cover my shoulders while in the church. I am wearing a veil, although a simpler one than I had planned because I think things might get a little "busy" up top with too much accessorizing, blah blah.
But my little lace bolero will arrive from China any day now... (not kidding, more details to come depending on how bad it is), and I think a good try-on session is in order once that happens.
I'm leaning towards the smaller ones, but I think I'll probably return those and buy a pair on Etsy. There are literally hundreds of similar styles, I just need to pick. My only nervousness is that I have purchased items on Etsy before, only to be disappointed that the "sparkle" I had envisioned was in pictures only and didn't translate to real life. Soo.... if you have a favorite Etsy seller of fine, sparkly jewelry.... let me know!

I'm sorry, was I going to talk about something besides weddings? Unclear.
So, I have a wedding approaching in about 114 days. Gulp.
And unlike most of the brides I know, I haven't whitened my teeth, gone on a major diet, signed up for boot camp, or... well, anything really. I would venture to say I'm mostly the exact same girl who got engaged on August 15th.
Little older, little wiser (maybe), slightly more likely to chug wine directly from the bottle. At 9 am.
After a month of semi-fitness in March/April.... I've fallen off the bandwagon so hard it's left bruises. Which leaves me staring into the eyes of my long-lost nemesis. Running.
Please don't judge me for my white socks. They're my favorite, ok?
I finally busted out the new running shoes I got in January (!!), and tonight I need to refresh the music in my Couch to 5K app.
You know, once I tear through my house and get ready for the garage sale I'm having bright and early tomorrow morning.
Who thought that was a good idea, exactly?
Clearly, I'm full of good ideas and dubious intentions.
Now excuse me, I have a bandwagon I'm clinging on to for dear life.
Any suggestions for my running playlist? I'm so boring and have horrible taste in music. Says Mr. RH.
Like he knows anything. :)
Happy Thursday!

Hey, I wasn't that girl either. About 6 months before my wedding I cut out bread, pasta and beer - NOTE, i did not cut out alcohol. Please. Anyways, just cutting out those made a huge difference! I hate running, but recently did the C25K app and honestly, I mean, I stuck it out and completed the app cycle, but I still hate running :)
Get it girl.
C25k is a great place to start. You already look amazing, but a little running will help with relaxing you...hopefully.
Sarah,
Check out Haute Bride. That's the brand of earrings I wore on my wedding day. That jewelry line is so pretty!
This was my back up. And these are GORGEOUS in person.

Also, if you'd like, I don't mind sending pics of my pairs that I bought for my wedding day. You can borrow them if you like:)
I try to mix it up with hip hop, Britney, and then some country mixed it for when I need to slow down in between. The slow down time helps me to just keep going.
I love working out to:
1. Juicy - Notorious BIG
2. My Humps - Black Eyed Peas
3. Night Out - Martin Solveig
4. Paris - Grace Potter and the Nocturnals
5. Down with the Sickness - Disturbed
... just to name a few. ENJOY!!!
If you have ITunes, search Cardio mixes... So many fun upbeat songs that can keep you going! "What a feeling" by Irene Cara keeps me nonstop!!!
Go RIGHT NOW to the Lulu Splendor Etsy site! I got all my wedding jewlery from her and could NOT have been more pleased. LOVE HER!
