February Funk

I was all set to post something awesome when I woke up this morning.. my creative juices were flowing and plus I had something fun to share (recent online shopping arrivals).

But you know what?

I am in a serious funk.

For the past few weeks I've been crying at the drop of a hat. Getting furious at myself for no particular reason.

And of course this morning I woke up and could not for the LIFE of me find the remote control for my camera that lets me take pictures of myself. I usually store it on top of my dresser (yes, awesome storage location) or in the drawer with all my camera stuff.

Yeah, gone.

-------------

It comes and goes lately, this feeling of being dissatisfied with myself. Who the heck am I anymore?

I feel like if the 18-year-old Sarah saw herself right now.... she would NOT be happy.

That girl had so much. Even if it was just illusion, she felt like she could take on the world and win.

-------------

This post could not be more random even if I tried... but hey, that's what's up. Why my posts here are meh at best. My head is too full of ick to let anything good come out.

Is anyone else suffering majorly from a case of February Funk?

Please tell me I'm not the only one.

I'm definitely in a February funk as well. I had high hopes 2011 would kick 2010's butt, but it's not living up to my expectations yet! Grr.

You are totally not the only one going through the February Funk. Hang in there, take it easy on yourself, and make some time to have a little fun. xoxo

You're definitely not the only one- I just feel very blegh.

Hugs. It's always better to talk about it and get it it. I feel that then things will start to change. Every month or day or week can't be great. xoxo

Sending good thoughts your way! You'll get through it - positive things happen at the most random times.

Oh honey, I've got a major case of the February Funk. I am all sorts of crabby and emo for no good reason! I blame the lack of sun and the fact that I've gained like 10 pounds since Christmas. Bleh.

Keep your chin up sweetie, sunny skies will be here soon.

You are so not alone. The tale end of these winter months are always full of the sads for me. Hopefully springtime will find its way to you soon and cheer you up!!

(And don't be so hard on yourself... those camera remotes are small. In fact, I am not quite sure where mine is at the moment...)

I feel like I have nothing to be happy about these days, but when it gets warmer it'll be better. Spring is already around the corner. At least we didn't get fat.

Hey Classy & Fabulous! Have you heard of Gabrielle Bernstein? She is this new happiness guru for 20 something generation. I bought her book: Add More -Ing to Your Life, A Hip Guide to Happiness and it's really helped me get out of those 'blahs' especially in the winter months. Her website has a lot of great video blogs, past lectures and resources, check her out sometime! http://gabbyb.tv/

Hey girl :) Sounds like you're having a really rough time. What you may need is to just back away and do something for yourself that you love, that will help you forget all the yucky stuff that's been going on.

Feel free to email someone who's been there: whatmissloves@gmail.com

and follow my blog sometime: http://whatmissloves.blogspot.com/

Cheer up!
