Tis the Season. Or Something.

Well guys, thank you for all your wedding suggestions on my last post. The wedding was wonderful and beautiful and simple. Perfection.

Unfortunately, some of the groom's friend clearly have never attended a wedding and had not a clue how to act appropriate. It was a blip, but it definitely pissed me off. Hello, act appropriate. You're in a church.

End rant.

I'll share photos someday when I have time to look at them or edit them. Somehow, I took more than 700 photos and ended up filling up my memory card. Which I didn't fill even on a 3 day trip to Chicago. Um, oops! Especially considering I have a huge memory card that's sitting unopened on my dresser. Heh.

-------------------------

You guys - this week is going to be the death of me. Not only is work completely INSANE - cause it is - but I have, of course, made 200 commitments outside of work.

Wedding? Check.

Christmas dinner with best girlfriends? Check.

Emergency Mexican dinner with work girlfriends, discussing why the single life with good girlfriends is 1000x better than the coupled life with a loser boy? Check.

Trying to bake a million Christmas cookies to share with friends and co-workers? Um, half check.
I made my dad's most-favorite childhood chocolate macaroon cookies. Macaroons are scary but also delicious. Which is unfortunate, because now I have nothing to share with my friends at work, or my boss - who amazingly let me leave work early (usually a no-no since I actually have a timecard on the computer) to take pictures at the wedding. I really wanted to make some cookies for her family to enjoy because we've both been too busy to do much baking.

End tangent.

Wear foam rollers to bed to help complete lady lady's updo. Which will be worn for a minimum of two days. Check.
Post photo of oneself in the world's most skanky and comfortable bathrobe on the internet for everyone to see. Because it's 5 am and I'm exhausted and nobody really looks at this thing, right? Check.

Well, I'm exhausted.

And don't even get me started on the non-checked stuff. It's too overwhelming.

Anybody wanna come wrap presents?

Happy Christmas Week!! I hope you all are enjoying some time off and enjoying your families!

And the topic of "single life with good girlfriends is 1000x better than the coupled life with a loser boy?" THE BEST. Can't agree more.

Happy christmas, lady!
