My Life is Complete.

I don't want to freak you all out or anything.. but basically, this is going to be the best week ever.

Ok, for those of you who don't like TV - you're not going to get it.

This week (actually, starting last Thursday), my house is participating in the Nielsen TV survey. Meaning: I am actively involved in TV ratings and influencing which TV shows are given the axe and renewed.

I am so drunk with power.

As you can see from the photo above... I woke up this morning and watched last night's Mad Men.

(I work tonight... but I'm stretching out my mini-vacation as long as possible.)

So, needless to say, this week I will be over-indulging in my love of all things TLC and Bravo-related. Because it's a tough job but somebody's got to do it.

And speaking of last night's Mad Men... was anybody else expecting more drama?? I thought it was a rather quiet episode. And now I'm all depressed cause we have like 10 months before Mad Men returns. Weep.

So... what shows do I need to add to my DVR this week? What am I missing?

And just FYI - something I'm definitely NOT missing out on because it's horrible and should never be watched - My Child is a Monkey on National Geographic channel. I love monkeys as much as the next girl but that show is whacked out. Just say no!

Happy Monday!

ooo FUN! I would love to do something like that =)
We just started watching the Defenders -- it's on CBS (I think) and I don't know what night it's on because we DVR it lol

Totally agree with you on Mad Men. I was BBMing one of my best friends saying "This better pick up since it is the season finale". I was also expecting Roger to get really angry and call him a hypocrite, etc etc.

Oh wait, I can't forget CHUCK. Hilarious and so great!

I'll stop there. I could go on and on, but I'll stop. Just please don't cancel the above listed shows. Please! LOL

Now, that sounds like fun. I love tv. Friends are always asking how do I watch all the show I watch. Power of the dvr!

Fun! Was your house just randomly selected?

There aren't any shows that I can think of that I watch that you don't. We seem pretty in-sync {hahaha} with our tastes. However if you do come across an episode of Sarah's House on HGTV, watch it! It's my current fav.

So cool.
I watch too much television (thank you four classes senior year). Castle and The Good Wife are two of my favorites though!

You need to watch the Roseanne when they get chosen to be a Nielsen family ... all they can watch is Discovery Channel because Roseanne doesn't want the Nielsen people to look down on them for tractor pulls and Hee-Haw :)

There's a show I love you would probably like in Life Unexpected. I don't want to see it get canceled.

You might be a little young to remember the 80s, but if you do, watch Community. It's the best show on TV.

I've never known someone who was chosen as a Nielson family! Use your power wisely. :)

Haha - this cracks me up! I'm so glad you were chosen though, because with TLC and Bravo picks, you definitley have my interests at heart!

Have fun!!! I used to work for Nielsen, I've always wondered if people enjoy participating in ratings or not. Hope you enjoy it!!

You wanted MORE drama from the Mad Men finale?!?

There was an engagement, a sale, a move, a firing, a vacation, a break up and a pregnancy!!!!! Aside from death (which we covered a few episodes back) I'm not sure what else could even be added! LOL.

We did that once. They sent us $2 for our time. :P
