I Love Weddings.

Have I mentioned one or eleven times that I love weddings? Cause I do.

So last week I hit the road to Nashville and I've been knee-deep in wedding-excitement since then.

And in the end? Everything was perfect.

Each detail and each moment was just so sweet.

The cake literally sparkled (with edible glitter!!).

The dancing was so much fun. I swear I was on my feet the whole night! (And this is a fact since the only thing I ate the entire reception was a slice of cake.)

Had to include this next pic so you could see the details on the bride's dress - SO stunning.

And despite all my stress about wearing the perfect dress to the wedding... turns out it didn't even matter. This is the only picture of me in my dress that I know about.

And yes, I realize that at this point I was sweaty and disheveled and had no makeup on. But for real, isn't the bride beautiful??

Now if I had to have one negative to the wedding?

It would be that the wedding wasn't until 7:30 pm. So the reception didn't start until 9 and ended around midnight.

So unfortunately I felt like I didn't have time to soak up each and every second because the seconds were flying at the speed of light.

It was still perfect... just quick!

I've spent today recovering from whirlwind-wedding-fever. Also known as a lack-of-sleep hangover.

And, of course, trying to figure out what kind of lens I need to buy for my camera to allow me to take pics in low light. I eventually switched to my point-and-shoot for the last pic because I was too fumbling with my DSLR.

Oh well - live and learn.

Today, my heart is full to bursting.

The dress is perfect! I definitely like it better with that belt than the bow. The bride is stunning! I love weddings too, and even though I am happily married I still find myself going "Oh, that's so beautiful, I should do that for my next wedding!"
