Weenie-Whiny

The day before I start working out... I'm always all "I am woman, hear me roar." etc etc etc.

And then I work out.

And I learn the truth: I'm a weenie. Even the easy stuff makes me whiny.

So I'll spare you my narrative of how much I hate working out... and instead ask:

What's your favorite snack?

I snack constantly and nothing sounds good right now.

I have developed an unhealthy obsession with nut butters. Specifically, Justin's Maple Almond Butter and Maranatha's Dark Chocolate Almond spread. Good on waffles, bagels, oatmeal, and straight from the spoon. :)

I fixate on foods.
Right now I am fixated on hummus, preferably with pita chips, but I will substitute carrots for dipping instead in the name of lower cal and healthier. :-)

Or those dark chocolate covered pretzel thins from Trader Joe's. If you don't have a TJ's near you let me know...I'll send you a bag. ;)

I love cheese, chips and salsa, oreos, pickles and anything to dip into hummus.

Chocolate covered pretzels. Yes, those are a snack. Well, more like their own food group.

Double stuffed Oreos :) yeah. Healthy snacks, though ... I freeze grapes and eat them. And the occasional (alright, daily) slice of cheese.

These are my two fave snacks right now that are relatively low in cal:

1)Jell-O Chocolate Mousse cups. I think they're 60 calories

2)Chiquita apple dippers from Kroger. They are 70 calories which includes the caramel. Yum!!!

Oh and my third most FAVE is skinny cow, anything in skinny cow. Yum Yum Yum!

Pita chips dipped in ranch dressing or pretzels dipped in ranch dressing is my all-time fave.

I make my own, healthier ranch dressing and if I'm feeling really good, I'll use veggies (cucumbers, carrots, tomatoes, broccoli, etc.) for dipping.

I just bought cocoa covered almonds and they are really good. Although, I much prefer something unhealthy like ice cream. :)

I love the apple snack packs that come with caramel, apple butter or an apple cinnamon sauce. They are only 60 calories and they're quite filling!

right now i'm sort of crushing on nacho cheese flavored bugles....they are surprisingly low in fat and carbs....for a fried corn snack that is! hah

CHEETOS & BEER! Which would explain why I vommed when trying out a kickboxing class at my gym this week. I wish I was kidding, ha ha!

My 'healthy' snacks are carrot sticks and apple slices. My 'sinful' snacks are anything salty, like popcorn or potato chips! Yum!

My favorite snack is a Laughing Cow cheese wedge with Special K crackers. Or a serving of raisin & nut trail mix. If I'm craving sweets I alwasy cave for white chocolate covered pretzels. XOXO

I get gung ho the night before than the day wears down and I am totally dreading going. I love almonds from the baking aisle because they don't have salt or oil on them. I also snack on 94% popcorn. Prob not the best.

My favourite snack? On an Atkins week or normal week?

Atkins week - bacon. Cheese. Peanuts.

Non-Atkins week: EVERYTHING else.

For a healthy snack, I like celery with peanut butter. For a not-so-healthy snack... caramel popcorn. *drool*
