Well, today was SUPPOSED to be the day I told you all that zomg you should never go six months without cutting or coloring your hair. Cause mine was nasty.
However, this is my after pic. Taken 2 seconds ago.
You can't really see a difference. See also: hot mess.
Are anybody else's allergies out of control?! Cause man it's been a rough few days. Ick!
On a random side note, remember how I moved? And I promised pictures and never delivered?
Well, it's mostly cause I basically am still living out of a box. Bad Sarah.
But some progress was made on the outside. Baby steps, right?
So, this is the Before. Notice how you can barely see the house because the landscaping is TOTALLY OUT OF CONTROL.
And the After.
It took like 4 guys 2 days to get rid of some 20 some trees and shrubs. And then grind up all the stumps.
And now it looks like this house was just built and the entire property has been razed.
Nice. (Actually, it looks pretty bad. We have a gardener coming out to do MORE cleanup sometime soon. It's STILL a mess!)
And, inexplicably, the lady who lived here before landscaped with bricks. But not a continuous border or anything... just willy nilly bricks. Everywhere.
I could tell you more weird things but there's just no explaining.
For instance, the lawn guy told us the woman screamed at him for cutting down a bush. But it wasn't a bush, it was a GIGANTIC weed. Which she said was a flower.
Weird.
Happy Thursday!

Does your family buy homes that need fixing up and then sell them? I guess that would be flipping. Are you flippers? I want to be a flipper :)

Neti Pot, Sarah, Neti Pot! It'll really help with the allergies.
We still have giant shrubs in front of our house and we moved here over a year ago!
A weed, huh? Sounds like something my sister would do. I think your house is adorable - so pretty! I can't wait to see what all you do with it. And I second the neti pot - they are pretty much a lifesaver!

I totally need to get my hair done. My roots have a mind of their own right now!!
