We'll Always Have Shopping

Oops, I disappeared for a couple of days. My bad.

You see, I was all raring to post on Monday morning... and then of course Blogger was all messed up. Bad Blogger!

And then I was busy and yadda yadda yadda. You know the drill.

Anyway, I have accidentally on purpose been doing some online shopping lately. My need for comfy summer dresses is at its peak and I am not finding satisfaction locally.

And you all know I love a good dress.

On Saturday, I saw that almost all the dresses at LOFT were $40 on the website. SOLD!

So I ordered a few size/color combos for comparison's sake.

Twist Waist V-Neck Dress, Black

By the way, it twirls beautifully.
(Alternately, my right hand looks like it's reaching out to punch somebody. So if I ever get in a fistfight, I would look good winding up, I think.)

Twist Waist V-Neck Dress, Pink
Does this pink one look too big? Does it look like it's falling off my shoulders? Dang my tiny shoulders! (Also, if you look closely you can see some paint from my new house on my feet. Classy!)

Ruched Knit Dress, Fresh Navy

I normally hate spaghetti-strap dresses... but in all reality, I'm probably always going to wear a cardigan over it. Because I'm modest like that. About my arms.

Ruched Knit Dress, Tea Berry
I don't know why this is called Tea Berry colored when it is SO obviously coral. Silly LOFT people... getting all creative with their names and such.

And I almost completely forgot about this last one.

Which is bad, because I am really truly excited about being on the maxi-dress bandwagon. Seriously.

New York and Company Goddess Maxi Dress

I ordered this last week (in the color I linked to - Almost Black). And paid full price. Now it's on sale for $35. You're welcome.

I wonder if I called if they would price adjust it for me? (I do it for people at work all the time.... I just want me fair share!)

So... I probably shouldn't keep all 4 LOFT dresses, right?? Cause I really don't need four dresses in only 2 styles. But 4 colors!

Geesh, I am a piece of work these days ladies!

(And if I drop off the planet again in the next couple of days... it's because things are about to get insane at work. Hold me.)

Has anybody else been shopping till they drop lately?

No? Just me.

Ok then.

Happy Wednesday!
(Holy crap, how is it already Wednesday?!)

I never go to the the Loft and I went this weekend and tired on both of those dresses.

Love the first one in black because I think you will wear it more in black.

I got the ruched knit dress in Navy and love it so much. But girl the coral also looks so good on you also. Keep them both!

Get a price adjustment on the maxi and duh of course keep it. Looks so pretty on you.

Missed you!

ps I shop like it's my job all the time, whoops.

The dresses look fabulous, but I like the very first one the best. It looks so beautiful and seems to fit you nicely. Perfect choice.

Love the new dresses! I'm obsessed with navy anything, so I say for sure keep the navy. Can I just say (in a totally friendship way) you have the best decolletage?

OOooh, I have that maxi too in the exact same color! I'll have to stop in there about a price adjustment as well!

I love all the dresses and you have no reason to be self concious about your arms! I bet they would adjust the price difference for you if you called them within 30 days they usually do.

I love all of the dresses! They look so great on you and they're perfect for summer! How fun. Well actually I just recently went to White House Black Market and spent my birthday gift card there....wow such cute clothing! Two dresses, on skirt, on top, two pairs of earrings, and a top that goes perfectly with a pair of black leggings. Ah I love shopping for summer!

I've been doing some major damage at Loft lately too. Their dresses are just so cute and comfortable. Love the maxi dress! I've had a hard time finding an affordable one so I will definitely check out the New York and Co dress. All of the dresses look great on you, good luck making a decision!

Hey! I just came across your super cute blog! Love it!! I really like the hot pink twist waist dress... since you mention shopping... I just started blogging, and my most recent one was about Kim Kardashian's amazing shoe club! I would also like to add that I love, love TJ Maxx as well! :) I am now following you, and excited to read more!

I say all of them. And yes, you should get a price adjustment.

I am looking for the perfect white cardigan b/c my current one is falling to pieces.

While I love that all the stores are coming out with all these fun color ones right now, why can't they make white!?!?

CUTE stuff! I have so many dresses from LOFT. I really would have to say that more than 50% of my dresses are from there. I can't help it though. They're cute, nice quality, and they have awesome sales!

Also, I agree with Pinksass. Keep the black one and return the pink if you just want one. You can jazz that black one up with lots of color!

love the dresses! Be a rebel and keep them all. :) lol, but really, if you are only wanting to keep one, keep the navy, it looks like it'll go with anything!

Now I want to go out and buy new dresses (with money I don't have haha). Definitely try and get the price adjustment. The worst they can say is no. You should do another post on how you style them with cardis and shoes and such!
