Wine Wednesday

Anybody need a big bottle of this today? No? Just me?

(Apologies for the blurry photo. But you see I was trying to be all artistic and cooler than I really am so it was quite stressful.)

The BFFs and I once split a bottle of a Moscato wine at a restaurant and the annoying waiter told us multiple times that we wouldn't be able to find a wine like this anywhere.

And we couldn't.

Until last week at Kroger.

This wine is super-sweet and yummy - I find it delicious over crushed ice.

But really - is there anything that isn't delicious over crushed ice?

Mmm.... wine.

What are you drinking today??
(Hopefully not on the job.)

This is my favorite white wine. I love it because it is so sweet. I've been getting it in the grocery store for more than a year now and it is the only white I drink. Love it!

Looks great!! I don't see myself drinking wine this afternoon but I do see myself getting into a large margarita on the rocks!

It's buy one get one free at our local mexican tonight so I am thinking that is just where I belong.

Nothing like taking the edge off on a Wednesday afternoon!

Yum! My Mom and I are HUGE Moscato fans... we usually buy ..... actually, I don't even know the name of the brand. It's a blue bottle... hard to find! Recently they started selling at Sam's club and it is sooo much cheaper there than at a speciality Italian store. YUM!

yes! I had moscato for the first time at a restaurant in Little Italy in NYC and loved it, but I had never seen it in a wine store anywhere.

I actually saw this YESTERDAY at Sam's Club and almost bought some but I wanted to read reviews on it before I went off and bought it- so it's good- I'm glad to hear it. Must buy some next tiem I'm at Sam's! It's only like $5.83 a bottle there!

I'm going to have to look for this! From the sound of it, you'd love Conundrum. It's pricier, I think in the $20-30 range? That's just a guess, I've only ever gotten it at restaurants, and it's about $16 a glass there.

For cheap wine at home, I love the Red Goliath cab.

I love Moscato Wine...mainly because of it's sweetness. Look for Barefoot Wine at your local stores. It's rated as a very good wine company that is extremely afforadable :) My husband and I drink all their stuff regularly!
