Let's Hug it Out TJ Maxx

If you've been around here for any length of time, you probably know that TJ Maxx is one of my true great loves in life.

Oh, to spend hours basking in the awesomeness of each and every department.... 'tis heaven.

So it's very strange that I haven't really had the chance to hang out with my BFF TJ lately. In fact, it's probably been a month since I've shopped there.

So I finally had a major TJ Maxx fest earlier this week and to tell you the truth... it left my hands feeling rather empty. And my wallet feeling rather full. Not good.

And everything had so much potential!

This top was only $10 and so much fun... too bad it was too big.

This dress seemed cute and was a really nice fabric...
Unfortunately it had this weird boob shelf I just couldn't get over. It was like a boob trap door. Strange.
I almost bought this black dress... but decided that the details just weren't special enough.
And I am definitely going to go back and get this one if I want to show my crotch off a lot. (This pic makes it look much longer than it is. But it IS really cute...)
I mean... I don't know how people decide if they're going to just start crotch-flashing people, but it's just really not my style.

This blue dress had so much potential. Favorite color? Check. Comfy? Check.
Awesome ruffle detail? Check. Black bra? Check.
Unfortunately... the girls wanted to come out and play a wee bit too badly.
Boo hiss.

I finally have a job that allows me many (ok, not really that many) moneys in my bank account for frivolous spending.... and I can't find one thing to spend my money on to save my life.

Doesn't that seem a bit messed up?!

Have you bought anything fun lately??

Buy the blue dress. That's what fashion tape is for!

I love the back of that blue dress! I wonder if you could have it altered a little to not show so much...

Aw that pinkish red dress is so cute... if only it was longer! Booo. I love that blue dress too, if it weren't for getting the girls hang ALL out

That is always the case with me! IF I happen to have spending money I find ZERO. If I am broke everything fits & is fabulous!! Ugh.

I love TJs...I think my mom actually may reside there haha! Unfortunately though I find that its either a huge hit or a big miss...which doesn't keep me from going!! I love that place

I'm cracking up at the boob trap door! And I actually have the black one that you're trying on (Is it Cynthia Rowely?) I'm on the fence about taking it back - mine is black and gray and just looks silly on. (That could be because of this basketball I'm carrying around but I'm going to go ahead and blame the dress!) I hope round 2 goes better! xoxo

Love the blue dress! You can fix the boobie sitch, trust me, a little tape and you'll be perfect!

Ugh! That is what ALWAYS happens to me! If I go to the mall when I have no money to spend, EVERYTHING is THE CUTEST THING I HAVE EVER SEEN. And then I go back in a few months, ready to spend my money, and there is not one single thing worth my hard-earned money! GRR!

(I'm sure it's just perception, but still!)

Isn't it such a love hate relationship with TJ? When youare ready to commit and spend butt loads of money, he offers you disappointment...and when you are not ready to spend the cash- then he toys with you and flashes sparkle amazingness in your face....SO CRUEL.

Duh.. when you always have money you can never find anything you want. It always happens that way, you didn't get that memo? I really like the crotch flashing dress, minus the crotch flashing. It would look super cute with a dark denim jacket, I have the perfect jacket from ON. Too bad its too short.

Im going to Dallas tonight and you're the second person to post about TJ, I'll think I'll be popping in there tomorrow. :)

100% you need to get that blue dress. worst comes to worst take it to get the front altered to fit your body PERFECTLY. I alter EVERY (ok, only work and nice clothing) piece of clothing I buy to hit my body.

I'd totally go back and get the blue dress and then just wear a really bright tank under it...like neon yellow. That would be beyond amazing for summer. Just a thought...
