I'm SO Fashion. Obviously.

First off, thank you for all your sweet comments yesterday. If you are having a bad day, just go read all the sweet comments. I just wanna say BIG GROUP HUG!! Whew, I feel better.

Maybe I should start a blog where we all just vent about our "problems"? I feel like we could all use the venting space!

Moving on.

------------------------------

The lovely Susan (aka Susan in the South) forwarded me an e-mail from Glamour magazine earlier this week.

The e-mail talked about how "smokey beige" is the color of February, and then went on to recommend a few shades, one of which was Commander in Chic.
What I'm trying to say is, really, I'm so trendy.

Ok, I'm usually the complete, 100% opposite of trendy. However, today, I am trendy.

Speaking of trends.... you know what trend I am HATING right now? The fact that stores only have short-sleeves and tank tops in stores.

Have they been outside recently?
(Took that photo this morning. It looks like snow, but it's actually fog frozen onto the tree. Crazy, huh?)

Any trends bugging you today? Want to tell me how trendy I am? (Kidding.)

Happy Friday!!

I am in love with that polish! Sadly, my nail place is bad about not having the new trendy colors, but I might just have to go pick that one up! That and "Here today...Aragon tomorrow" by OPI. Kinda goth looking, but I'm obsessed with that dark green color for nails!

We got tons of snow over here and when I went to Target all they had out was sandals and rompers...I still bought some while wearing uggs and a ski coat. Cause I'm on top of trends and stuff. ;)

Something I've seen a few times all over campus are girls wearing tights - with jean shorts over them. Who told them this was a good idea? It looks ridiculous!

I love that nail polish. I may have to pick up a similar color.

Don't be mad at me but I love that stores have summer stuff out right now cause I need clothes for my cruise!! And is that really fog? Can fog really freeze to a tree like that?!?!? That. is. crazy.

Oooh, you know what trend is killing me right now? Chartreuse. Or however you spell it. That is THE color for spring and it just icks me out. I don't care for the color and it doesn't care for me either.

I hate all these yellow-green-ish colors that are so hot right now. They don't make me feel happy even just looking at them.

I guess we are both trendy!! Because, I saw in InStyle (Feb.) that colors similar to that one are "so in" right now! haha! And, last sunday I switched from pink/white acrylics to gel nails and picked a color close to that to go on my nails! I posted about it on my blog. It feels good to do something right in the fashion/beauty world hehe!

the only trend that's bugging me is that...well, everyone seems to still think that stretchy tights can be worn as pants. and, let's face it...only about 1% of the population can wear tights as pants, and all of them are under the age of 20. blech.
