Ahem

How long has it been since I've written a coherent post?

A long time? Heh, you might have to wait one more day. Why is that?

Well, as you may recall from last week I travel through the country roads to get to my doctor.

And I have to go back early this morning, only we've got about 4 inches of snow on the ground so instead of taking my quick country route (in blue), I am forced to drive on the major highways, which takes me about 10 miles in the wrong direction.

See my awesome paint illustration below for a reference.
Blue=fast, green=sloow.

Glad we're on the same page.

---------------------------------------------
Yesterday, I ate my weight in heart-shaped cookie dough. (Recipe here.)
I kinda love that picture of the cookies. Would make a great header for my cooking blog.

You know, the one that I'm going to write in all of my spare time. Cause obviously I don't need to put in any more effort around here.
---------------------------------------------
Also, the gray nail polish manicure is still awesome. The only finger I've chipped is my left pointer finger. It chips no matter what I do. Obviously I need to stop pointing at things.
Go Sally Hansen!
---------------------------------------------
Gotta go dig out my car before I get dressed or I'll be soaking wet by the time I get anywhere.

How's the weather in your neck of the woods?

(PS I apologize for complaining about the snow to all of you who have two feet on the ground. Sorry! You totally have it worse than me!)

The cookies look amazing! I live in New England and we usually get the 2+ feet of snow each winter & we haven't gotten any of this storm yet! All the snow finally washed away but now we should be getting about a foot tomorrow :( LOVE reading your blog!

I have six inches of snow and I'm whining. I shoveled the sidewalk, but that's only so the delivery man can get my mixer to the door!

We have ton of snow here. Unfortunately, I live in the city and the only effect it has on me is making my commute awful.

Everyone outside the metro gets to have snow days...I get to have "Wait an extra 30 minutes in the cold for the ridiculously crowded bus" days.

I usually do pretty traditional nailpolish..pinks, beige. But I like that color. I have something really similar by OPI called You Don't Know Jacques.

Your cookies are so perfectly shaped! And your polish looks so good on you, but I know it would look like wet cement against my skintone. Must. Resist.

I'm sure the snow is driving you crazy - but I wish so desperately we would get snowed in. I just need a couple days break!!!

I hear you on the cookies! Winter does nothing for my figure-- and GRAY, that's great! I always do black, red, or bust- but your nails look great, so maybe I'll try that sometime! xoe
