I suck at giving my dad gifts too but this year for his bday I got him a tankard mug (a 22 oz mug) from Things Remembered that had a Raven's helmet and logo on it. I also had it engraved. It was a good gift because he's a huge football fan, likes to have a drink while watching it and it was perzonalized from me. Things remembered always has great, thoughtful gifts.

Your dad sounds like my husband. He's always telling me he doesn't need anything, so I try to think of practical things he'd like. Maybe have his car detailed or a gift card to a restaurant he likes.
