On Wednesday, I was minding my own business and putting gas into my car when a big truck pulled into the gas station lot.
Seems ordinary enough, right?
Well... somebody needs to explain why the heck there is what appears to be a giant pink coffin on the back of the truck.
Cause that's what it looks like to me. Maybe a coffin for a bear.... cause I want to say elephant but no way would an elephant fit.
Go ahead. Explain away.
P.S. You should thank me for this pic... you have no idea the lengths of subterfuge I had to go to to snap this pic... there were so many people around and the residents of Podunk, Indiana do NOT understand blogs. Sheesh!

I believe that is the box the coffin goes in.
I'd like to be buried in a pink coffin. Is that so wrong?
That is just creepy.
Being buried in a pink coffin would be fabulous! Is it possible for that to be fabulous? :)
I tagged you for an award! Have a wonderful day, lady!
Cannot wait to find out what it is!
Lol how cute is that bear coffin is pink?:D have you googled?
Eww..I hate all things coffin realted.
Yikes, that is kind of creepy! And it really does look like a coffin!
xo
Hey girl. I've had my fair share of funeral planning. That looks like the vault that they place a coffin in. Most counties requirement them because way long back during floods coffins would come back out of the ground. Does that make sense? I see that sight quite often since my office building is accross the street from the funeral home & cemetary my mom is buried at. Kind of appropriate since I some time feel like I work with the living dead. :) XOXO
I feel like this is inappropriate for me to say but, that's a really cute coffin/vault!
Ok, that is the creepiest thing I've seen in a while... although, I've learned something new today. I had no idea that they put the coffin in a vault!
LOL! Thanks for the laugh! I can just see some poor circus bear being buried in a pepto bismo pink coffin!!!
As a couple other commenters said, this is not a coffin, but rather the vault (the stone box in the ground the coffin is lowered into).
Apparently I learned something new from reading these comments. Can I request a pink one when I go?
YIKES!!!!!
It's a vault. I didn't know they came in pink. I think they're made of cement. I've seen plenty of coffins, but never one of those (other than at burials). I grew up behind a funeral home and have seen plenty of coffins (and bodies) being delivered.
