And the Winner Is... + My Weekend

The winner of some very fabulous True Blue Spa products is...

{drumroll please}

Using a very scientific method (hahaha or not):

Julie at Wearing Mascara! Congrats Julie!!

-------------------------

So this past weekend has been a whirlwind. On Friday, I (as I may have mentioned before) went to the Nordstrom Sale. And bought nothing. Yes, it was that anti-climactic. I bought a couple of items that I'll have to show you later this week.

On Saturday, I headed back to school for yet another wedding. This one was in the same chapel as the last wedding I went to. It's weird because I went to the last wedding with The Boy and now I was alone. Most of the people at the wedding didn't know The Boy had dumped me so it definitely made for some awkward conversations.

To add to all of the excitement, one of my friends showed up with a sparkler of her own! She has been dating her man for the same length of time I dated The Boy. In fact, The Boy and her boy were really great friends. It's definitely bittersweet, but I had a little bit of thrill to know that her boy was on "my side" when he heard about the whole situation. Definitely made the weekend a bit easier.

So the wedding was absolutely beautiful. The bride is such a girly, glitzy girl and so the whole thing was just perfect for her.

I don't have a ton of pics from the event because I was always in the wrong place at the wrong time.

The bride wore some absolutely gorgeous pink patent leather Prada heels - they were stunning!

Her dress was sparkly and glitzy and just stunning.

I wore the beautiful blue dress with the black patent leather shoes. Got tons of compliments, everyone loved it. Thanks for all the suggestions ladies! The girl on the right is the newlywed from last month's wedding.

It was a beautiful weekend and I am just so thrilled for the happy couple.

The reception was one huge party that lasted till midnight. I didn't go out to the bars afterward but lots of other people did. I, however, could barely walk without my feet killing me... so I decided to call it a night.

A beautiful time was had by all.

The next wedding isn't for 2 months, so I have a bit of time to recuperate before the next one.

May they always feel like newlyweds...

Happy Monday!
