Ohhh Wedding Wednesday! How I've missed you!! That built-in focus on a weekly basis is something that I could reeeeally use in these days of blog-ADD-dom.
Pretty sure I invented that phrase, but you can borrow it if you want.
Sooo. Wedding photos. So far I have culled over 900 photos down to a measly... 150ish of my favorites. I'm actually still really overwhelmed by the amount of photos that I would LIKE to post on this here bloggity-blog.... but I'm just going to start with baby steps.
Bay-beee-steps.
I thought I would stick to mostly-chronological order for the posting of The Official Wedding Photos.
If you need a wedding photographer (or family or infant photographer, for that matter) in central Indiana, you should definitely check out CarisDesign, who did all of the photos seen in this post. I can't say enough fabulous things about them.
And before I say too much... here come the "Getting Ready" photos.
Because photographers are expensive, we started the photos after my hair and makeup was already done. The maids and I converged upon one of my BFF's homes - where her mom had been feverishly prepping for the bridal party. What a gift!!
Getting ready was one of my most-treasured parts of the day: being surrounded by my BFFFFFFs, pretty dresses, and spraying deodorant on all of our sweaty bits so we wouldn't sweat through anything with nerves.
It's true what they say: PRICELESS
I seriously anticipated these robes for MONTHS before our wedding. Awesome purchase!
I never did get to sip one of these fancy champagnes. At least I don't think I did!
Because we are nothing if not awesome, we had to replicate our favorite Bridesmaids pose.
Aaand then - it was time for The Dress!! The first pic below is one of my favorites of the day - I actually look nervous!
Even though I feel like it was less nervous and more hurryup hurryup go go go face.
The first of many face-powdering pics.
How stinking adorable are my bridesmaids in the mirror below?
One day I'll probably write a long song to my wedding shoes. It will be so beautiful.
Can't have a Hoosier wedding without some Vera Bradley bags peeking out in the corner of the pic below!
As absolutely ecstatic as the photos I've posted make me... I can't believe there were even better moments to come!

Oh, I love it -- and have eagerly anticipated the unveiling (ha! puns!) of your wedding photos. And, um . . . great minds think alike, because yeah. Totally bought the exact same (or very similar?) robes for myself and my ladies. Did you get them from a lovely seamstress in India via Etsy?! I was ridiculously excited about their arrival, too, and still wear mine all the time!
Gorgeous! If this is just the tip of the iceberg then I can't wait for the rest!
Your dress is so beautiful!!! And you're right, the robes are fabulous. Can't wait to see more pictures. :) xx Jen @ foodloveandlifeblog.blogspot.com
