Single Digits.

In nine days I'm getting married.  NINE DAYS.

I'm getting really excited and also flipping out.  Did I mention that it's hotter than it's been all summer here?

Regardless of whether not I am going to slowly burn in the fires of hell, the wedding will go on.  I hope.

I'm just bummed that my beautiful, fall wedding is probably not going to happen.  Instead, I will be dealing with extreme flop sweat and shoes that probably slide of my feet in a puddle of rain.  WEEP.

As much as I have unknowingly procrastinated, I'm pretty excited that things are starting to come together.  I put together a schedule for the DJ, and am finishing up an email to the photographer today.

There are SO many things that I'm sure I'm forgetting.  However, I do know after showing up a week early for dress rehearsal, that my dentist appointment is today.

It's raining for the first time in multiple months, so plants are probably going to be all green and lush just in time for wedding photos.  RIGHT?!

Right.

NINE DAYS.  Holy shit, give me your best tips.  I need them.  Also, I need to lose 2 inches per arm in a week.  Doable, right?

Not.

Tip #1 make your plans then turn them over to someone trustworthy and enjoy!

Tip #2 remember things can and do go "wrong" but it will make the day more memorable--it's not really about a wedding but a marriage and waking up as husband and wife forever. The wedding is the sprinkles on top. Best of luck!

It's SO soon!!! I hope the weather cools down for you soon. This weekend is supposed to settle down a bit, so hopefully by next weekend you'll have more of a Fall wedding than you hoped!

EEEEEEEEEEEK

And I'm worried it's going to be too cold for an enjoyable fall wedding outdoors in November! Sigh.

Thinking of you and know that everything is going to go beautifully! Sounds like you have a great handle on things and, as I just told my sister, what doesn't get done just doesn't get done. At the end of the day, no matter what, you'll be married: and that's what really matters!

But really, everything will be great. :)

This weather is just a freak thing - forecast is a LOT cooler so don't worry.

I'm soooooo glad you're doing the mailbox thing - it's so easy and mine turned out AMAZING! 9 days - eek!

Enjoy every last drop of craziness before the Big Day. It's going to be awesome!!
