Shop = Drop.

First of all... I just wanted to say THANK YOU for all of your kind words on my last post. They meant the world to me, seriously.

You are all so smart and kind and wise... {{Big group Internet Hug}}. Thank you.

Moving on.

-----------------------------------------------

Oh, hello there. Apologies for my blogging disappearance. Work has been... whoa. Let's not even talk about how few hours I've spent anywhere except work this past week... shall we?

O-kay.

So I know y'all love my shopping posts... and I have been shopping like a MAD WOMAN lately.

Unfortunately, it's mostly been 100% boring stuff for work. Woohoo the thrill.

I have been love-love-loving this gray tunic sweater from H&M. I think I paid $15 for it.

It's wrinkly from my throwing it on my floor last night when I went to bed. Classy, I know - but I've been absolutely living in it!

These leggings are also amazing... because they are thick and stretchy and not at all see-through. Definitely a Target must-have.

While I was vacationing in Chicago, I picked up this cute tunic at Forever 21. This is my "I'm not only a boring person who wears black/white/gray shirts" shirt.

Not sure that it looks all that great on me but I do love how bright and bold it is.

A couple of weeks ago, I was whining bitching on twitter about how I don't have any work clothes. I hate to pay a lot for said clothes because I am extremely hard on my clothes at work - I get dirty and filthy and it's just not worth the expense.

Somebody suggested I look at Kohls... but the idea of heading into my local store, which tends to be a disaster zone during the best of times.... not so much.

Kohls.com to the rescue. God bless the internet.

I found this boyfriend blazer and fell in love. It's basically made out of sweatshirt material.

Of course, I love it and therefore it's not work-dresscode-approved. Typical.

I really wanted a super-fitted but comfortable black blazer that I could wear to work. Unfortunately... this one just hangs on me. The sizing is not my favorite.

I got a couple other solid tops but they were bad - just bad. This one wasn't too bad though...

Heh, excuse the wrinkles. I took it directly out of the shipping bag and tried it on for you. Nice, right?

Have you had any great shopping finds lately? I think that since this is my last free weekend in... forever, I might beg my BFFs to shop till they drop with me. I'm in need of more merchandise.

And be honest... is the gray blazer cute or am I just blinded by the comfy?

Khol's is great but its very hit or miss, you have to catch them at the right time. I like the grey blazer!

I buy most of my work clothes from Kohl's or NY&Co. I only buy from Kohl's when I have 30% off & free shipping, and usually end up returning at least half of the stuff I buy. My favorite brand at Kohl's is the Lauren Conrad line, but Apt. 9 is pretty good too!

The rest are cute, but I'm not digging that F21 tunic at all.

I agree, Kohl's is hit or miss, but the past 6 months or so I've had really good luck. Also, try the Elle, Lauren Conrad, and the Vera lines, I've had the best luck with those. They're in the misses section, not juniors. Also, NY&Co. is also good for work clothes, if you're tall like me they offer pants in long length which is huge. Good luck!

Um, I think the gray blazer is totally cute. Especially love the cuffs!

With Christmas coming, I find myself holding onto my cash even harder... but it's so hard to shake the shopping bug! I just bought a really cute black-and-white skirt from H&M over the weekend, and I love it -- but I loved the $17 price tag better.

I don't think that black blazer looks like it is hanging on you.
I wish we had an H&M around here. I love your gray tunic.
