Happy Birthday Mom!

Mom, today would have been your 51st Birthday...

(Horrible picture, but we don't have that many together.)

I thought it would be fun to start a tradition of buying myself something fun on your birthday, but then I realized that my credit card would think that was not that much fun.

Either way, I love you. Happy Birthday.

I think that would be a good tradition. You don't have to go overboard just buy yourself something that you think your mom and you would like. It would be your little way of celebrating her.

I think that is a great tradition, even if you get something small.

I think it would be great if you buy yourself something :) ... even a cake?! YUM. (am I the only one who drowns my sorrows with food?!)

Oh my goodness. My Mom would haven been 53 tomorrow. They were so close in age. Every year for her birthday I visit her gravesite. Sometimes I take a balloon & card but tomorrow it will be rainy. We also try to do something to remember Mom by around her birthday. Something that she would have loved. I think I'll be getting a pedicure and painting them in a mauve color. She always wore mauves. I think starting a tradition of remembering her is a wonderful thing.

Thinking of you today and sending prayers your way.

You can start today with the Vanilla Cupcake you missed out on this week! Then next year when your credit card is well rested you can switch it up and buy something else!

By the way YOU are not the Target lady. Your Target lady reminded me of "my" Target lady! Hahaha!!

I looooove my Target lady!! She makes me soooo happy!

Thinking of you...what a GREAT picture of you and your Mom....and I TOTALLY think you should buy yourself something each year in her honor. You can skip buying something else on another day.
