Wow, time sure does fly when you are laptop-less. I feel like I haven't been keeping up with everyone, and for this I am sorry. But my laptop is supposed to be here in maybe less than two weeks or something so here's to hoping.
Today is the second day of intense moving from the family home. The house already looks empty, but we still have a lot of work to do. It's the little things - like pics hung on the walls, random crap shoved in closets, etc that I am not looking forward to at all. Can you say hot mess?
Basically, I have 3 nights left to enjoy my big big house. We moved here on my 8th birthday and never looked back, so I'm a little emotional about leaving. 15 years in the same house is a big deal, and not only that but we have the BEST neighbors ever. I do NOT want to leave them AT ALL.
Wow, I wonder if this post can get more random. Wait, yes it can. I love watermelon.
Moving on.
I loved all your comments on my post about books. If you have any book suggestions, send them my way! I love reading books other people love, so don't be shy!
However, I do have to offer one tiny disclaimer. I only like frothy, girly books. None of this historical stuff or boring-ness.
Case in point: everybody is reading The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society book. I bought it, tried to read it, but just couldn't get into it. Apparently I am a person who hates history - so sue me.
Ok, did I deliver enough randomness to give you whip-lash? Good.
And here's one more: I'm excited to go buy random crap at Target today. Because who doesn't love Target, seriously? Yay.
Happy Friday!
P.S. When you hear from me next I may be wallowing from depression because it will be the last few hours in our house. Waah.

I LOVE TARGET! So sorry about your house. My parent's moved out of the house I grew up in when I was at college. I about lost it when I came home to another house. SO STRANGE. It will get better :)
Thank god for you Sarah... I hate boring history crap too. (I thought I was the only one in BLOGLAND) Seriously, I read a page and then put it down. They are that bad to me! LOL
Have fun at Target... I seriously go like 4594 times a week. I'm sort of addicted.
Oh and I cannot imagine not going home to my childhood home... I'd die. OR just buy more goodies at Target.
...who said retail therapy never helped anyone?
The Washingtonienne is quite an entertaining real-life girly read - but a little risque! I'd still recomend it though =) Have a great weekend!
