Suggestions?

I feel like I need a change. I don't know if it's cabin fever or how ready I am for spring break... but I just need something fresh.

Today, I covered an old canvas I had shoved behind my bed with some cute red/burgundy fabric. It's cute, but it needs something. I like to paint on top of the fabric: some swirls, words... anything.

But today, I just ran out of creativity.

Here's the pattern of the fabric: The canvas is a little over a foot square.

Do you have any ideas? I'm feeling so uninspired. And what color paint would you use? White? Gray?

I am useless today - my brain is mush. Oh well.
