Watch Out!

As I was sitting down to write this post (ok, as I was sitting down to watch some reality TV I DVR'd last night), I saw a flash of something in front of the windows.

My first thought: omg, prowlers. I must arm myself. Does a throw pillow count as being 'armed?'

When I looked up, this is was I saw.

A hawk! It's a bit hard to see, seeing as I didn't want to zoom or move or ANYTHING because as soon as I did, he flew away.

Have I ever mentioned that I'm severely bird-phobic? Just writing this post kinda creeps me out. Majorly. Anyways, after all that trauma, I think I'll have to store my energies for a real post for another day.
