So of course, when the previous owners of the house leave a perfectly good (if a little ugly) set of pots on the front porch, I can't just leave well enough alone, right?
Fortunately, my closet held the ticket to fixing the problem.
Literally.
This is my closet door. Yes, I know I'm a messy disaster.
Anyway. I retrieved the spraypaint and bam, I was on my way to super-domestic status.
Now if only my newspaper garden would grow a little bit, I'd be all ready to plant.
I have a feeling this one might be a job for Lowe's though... I dunno if these bad boys will be big enough to plant before summer's over.

You should totally check out my post on cheap jewelry finds at All Things Chic.... I found some steals!
Would the planters be sitting in front of that brick that is shown in the pictures? Because the color really pops in front of the brick, unlike the previous color sort of blending in. I think they'll look great! I'm about to spray paint an old ikea wine wrack thing I have stored in our basement and transform it into a "plant stand" (is that the correct term??) for a plant on our porch. I'm thinking a huge ass fern maybe? Hmmmmmm.
ReplyDeleteI love buying ugly things and making them pretty! My sewing chair is a boring wooden chair that I saved from the trash when my neighbor moved.
ReplyDeleteI think the spray painted pots look good!!
ReplyDeleteNice pots! I love finding new and useful things to do with old and dated ones.
ReplyDeleteThey look awesome! Good color choice!!
ReplyDeleteI like the planter's color. I'd like an organizer like that on my closet door.
ReplyDeleteI think they look good!
