Have I Told You Lately That I Love You (TJ Maxx)?

I had a major Maxx Moment yesterday at my home base (TJ Maxx).


The coat/jacket was $30 and the rain boots were $40.

Yes, I realize the coat has an odd patent leather belt... but for $30, I'll find something else. Or just remove it completely.

The only thing stressing me out is that the boots are a size 8 and feel big. I tried on the 7's in the store and they were a bit snug but felt fine.

Do rubber boots stretch? Not so much? The size 8 just feels baggy. And of course my dad (the foot expert due to his many foot surgeries) says if I get the 7 he is throwing me out on the streets.

Because I have this bad habit of buying all my shoes too small.

Be honest.. do I look like a weird gogo dancer in the boots??

I know, my life is hard.

Speaking of which... I gotta run. Back to TJ Maxx. I didn't even have a chance to look at the clothes and there was a ton of clearance.

Bye bye wallet.

    maybe try inserts? don't exchange them for the 7's. I have a pair of rainboots that are a tad small and I HATE wearing them.

    Cutest outfit ever! I'm in LOVE with the boots! I will be praying for rain so you can wear them all the time!

    When I went yesterday to TJ MAXX, I told Ryan "Come with me. I promise, I'm going straight to the shoes and then leaving." That was a lie. I found an awesome bench wit storage for my living room that we are going back to get later this week! :)

    I always forget about TJ Maxx, but now they will forever be on my radar!

    I love both of your purchases! I saw those katespade boots a couple of months ago when they were still $80. I'm so jealous you got them for $40.

    You make me want check out my TJMaxx immediately, although my wallet does not agree...

    I have always loved TJMaxx.. especially their shoe section, and all the great sales are going on right now! I picked up a pair of Tahari boots recently.. originally 200.. I got them for 29!!

    Too big is better than too small! I went to Marshall's yesterday and found a $230 BCBG dress on clearance for $30!!! Woohoo!!!

    The boots might look gogo with another attire, but definitely not this one. Too cute! And if you have a habit of buying shoes too small I would keep the 8's, you can always wearing fluffy socks to take up some room.

    I love TJ Maxx, unfortunately the past several times I've gone has been a living nightmare. Nothing that I find cute fits right and highlights all the wrong parts of a womans figure. I'm starting to think I need therapy from the past to horrific experiences I've encountered there. :(

    tj maxx gives me heart palpitations and not because it's chock full of great deals, but because i get too damn overwhelmed when i walk in the door!

    the same thing happens at marshalls & ross.

    i need someone to hold my hand & guide me through the store...any takers?!

    Super cute! Are those boots Kate Spade? I remember a pink pair from last year... As for sizing, it's probably best to get a pair that fits. Otherwise they'll just sit and be cute in your closet. :)
