Just recently, I read the Big Stone Gap Series by Adriana Trigiani. I loved it.
As some background, Trigiani was actually a graduate of my alma mater, Saint Mary's College. I had heard of her while I was at school and that several of her books were NY Times Bestsellers. Obviously I was excited before I even read them.
This series contains four books: Big Stone Gap, Big Cherry Holler, Milk Glass Moon, and Home to Big Stone Gap.
Each books tells about a little slice of adulthood in Ave Maria's (that's the main character) life. From singlehood to wedded bliss to motherhood, this book felt so very real. I felt like I knew the characters and I couldn't wait to find out what happened next.I read the whole series in under 2 weeks, so if that's any indication... you should definitely read these books.
The End.
What are YOU reading now?
